Sometimes the Morning News Wrap should be blogged.

I am bored by the 15 fifteen minutes of the news now as its all about the Olympics. You know what is really sad about that….And I am going to be a little personal here, I am passionately patriotic, I love my country….When Steve Irwin died, I was at the Kangaroo Valley Bakery eating a pie (not sure why I was there or who I was with), I really admired Steve and his passionate love of Australia…..So in response, the next day, I put a temporary Australian flag tattoo on my hand, I did it the same the next day and the next, for 14 years….Literally every day…..Then I moved to Darwin, and I was told by my employer, that my temp tat was a symbol of invasion and seeing it was temporary, I couldn’t wear it…..And so I stopped. There was a large part of my passion of our nation died at that directive. I have tried a few times to resurrect it, and the love interest will attest to the fact that there are unopened temp tattoos literally on my bathroom bench, but I am not sure what I am passionate about Australia anymore. In my memory, and yes, people under 30, will dismissively call me a boomer, Australia was about mateship, hardwork and a small plot of land with a cottage on it called the Castle. Now, as a former patriot, all I see is, we have a nation with no leadership, I live in a state where youth violence and crime is treated as the same as a 7 year old child stealing a Chuppa Chuppa, we spend $650 million dollars on another country’s footy team whilst our own people live in tents in parks, we open our doors to half a million immigrants and then wonder why inflation and therefore interest rates are so high and I constantly have to be welcomed to my own country.

Well that definitely escalated rather quickly.

The Olympic village has been built with geo theometric renewable cooling, so no air conditioning and Australia has just spent $100,000 bringing in temp air con….People you need to understand…..renewable is so so sexy and marketable, and yet $100,000 has to be spent from Australia to cool our athletes…..So who is kept accountable about this? Bloody no one. No one is ever kept accountable for ‘renewables’ failure…. Subject change…..let’s talk about the two thousand million dollars that has been spent trying to clean the Seine…..and it failed……so who keeps anyone accountable about this colossal failure…..No one.

No one ever keeps anyone in power accountable. Let’s talk about the vaccine thing…..so many politicians, celebrities etc, prostituted themselves to vaccine companies, only to find out, that those companies are now saying….yeah the vaccine wasn’t good.

Anyone, accountable? Nope. Why don’t we go back to the Medical Officers who every day fronted cameras pleading us to be vaccinated. Where are they now?……Oh I know, living off the nipple of the state government who they sold their soul too. What about all the people who lost their jobs due to their, now retracted, demands that unvaccinated people were to be excluded faster than a rabid infested rat found in your pantry.

A train station that would transport people to the EKKA at the Exhibition Station has been declared not to be open due to CEFEMU issues and violence.

A WA builder has had his license revoked leaving hundreds of homes half finished. When I was building my home, I appreciated real estate agent Danny Buxton who walked me through the entire process and picked a builder for me that was financially secure and did quality work. I would recommend Danny every day of the week.

Melbourne man, who used AI to make child abuse material, has been jailed. I wonder if AI dobbed him in as that would be poetic justice. I wonder does AI have a moral code?

Headline reads, Australia’s boxing team fighting for a breakthrough. The problem with our boxing team is that we sent females to fight females…..Whereas other countries have sent men to fight in the female competition. The Matilda’s lost their latest match…..but had the Matildas been made up of men…..maybe we would have beaten the other female team. I think the Australian Olympic Committee need to take a good hard look at the loop holes in the woke Olympic games and send many more men into female sports. We could dominate every sport and the ladies that aren’t competing could bring out the oranges during the game…..I am of course not as sexist as this story conveys…..its a statement on the stupidity of allowing biological males to compete against females.

And on that note…..that will do for today. Have a good one.

  1. I feel the same as you Peter . . .you are spot on.

  2. Thanks Pete

Well written article which I am sure expresses how many of us feel right now

The whole Olympic debacle has been tiresome enough even for this old boomer who hardly watches TV these days

Just picking up on the headlines is enough for me

I’m taking me princess to Darwin by road in our little Hiace van next week Neither of us have been there so it’s going to be a real adventure

I might have to invest in some temporary Aust flag tats before departure

I’m living on the memories of the country I’ve known and loved

    Thanks for the blog

    Blessings

  3. Great blog, not much accountability these days. Only accountability will be if someone gets hold of your blog and says you are encouraging non conformist behaviour. Then you will disappear faster than a anti vaxer in a healthcare setting in the midst of COVID.

keep blogging head underground when they come for you.

  4. Thanks champion. It is certainly not the country….or world…it used to be. Accountability concept does not sit well with elected officials at various levels….and even less as time goes by. Bowen the other day made a comment about renewable airline fuel and someone in the crowd told him Air New Zealand had dropped that as uneconomical. He response….just shows you we have to encourage companies to get on board….meaning by either throwing government money …ours…at them, or imposing penalties if ‘zey vill not obey’. On the Olympics….absolute joke. Sandwichman called Sydney best ever….if they are honest they will call Paris worst ever. Even in triathlon which I saw a little of, they had corners on bike route at pedestrian crossings…in the rain.,.many falls …ludicrous. thanks for being back online. God bless you

  5. Thanks for the blog Pete. I am in agreement. Turned me off the Olympics this year. Loved it when amateurs competed and there was no performance enhancing meds. When dedication and hard work were winners.

  6. Great to have you back blogging Peter. My sentiments exactly on every point.
