So the immediate response from the Prime Minister to the Bondi massacre is to target gun owners. Which if I am really honest is a soft target. Hey Prime Minister tell us about your strategy to deal with anti-semitism…..for example at a tribute location for the victims, a woman turns up and starts to make anti Jewish comments and all that happens is she is walked away by the police. This is simply not good enough. We don’t tolerant the Nazi salute, let’s not tolerate Jewish hatred. So please Prime Minister, whilst your government is under scrutiny for expense rorting, how about we have an audit on how your government has created an environment where terrorism is this year’s Christmas present to the nation you apparently lead. And I say apparently, because your government is a clown car. I wished to some extent we could do what America’s Congress does with inept leaders, and move to impeach the leader. I wish we had a Governor General that had the same political balls as Sir John Kerr who sacked the Whitlam Government. Unfortunately, the Governor General is as useful as a paper bag in a rain storm.
May I suggest Albanese is trying to mimic John Howard’s gun law reform post the Port Arthur massacre. “Oh look at me, I am just as good as John Howard”.
Over a million dollars has been raised as a gift to the Bondi hero who wrestled a gun from one of the shooters, the other shooter then shot him twice. Once in the arm and once in the shoulder. He will recover. And good on Aussies for blessing him. It’s a nice way to say thank you.
Security has been raised around Jewish Synagogues around Australia. Which is nice now, but the Jewish community have been raising serious concerns about their safety for the last year. In fact, the Rabbi killed in the massacre, had written to the Prime Minister asking for assistance re the rise of anti-semitism in Australia and the fear that Jewish Australians were feeling. These would be the same Jewish Australians, that our Prime Minister has said that he will continue to stand with……If you are Jewish, with ‘friends’ like Albanese, who needs enemies?
The Prime Minster of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu wrote to our Prime Minister on August 17th asking him to address the rise of anti-semitism. I think around that time it was at the height of the Australian’s Government’s support for Palestine and pro Palestinian protests. AND ALBANESE’S RECOGNITION OF PALESTINE AS A STATE.
I remember thinking, if something happened re Hamas attacks, I thought, this could come back to haunt Albanese. Well Albanese, birds have come home to roost. You created an environment where this happened.
One of the shooters was photographed at a Pro Palestinian rally. Yesterday Albanese said that there is no link between his government’s recognition of a Palestinian State and the Bondi Massacre, proving yet again the breathtaking ignorance of this Prime Minister. I am not a fan of the ALP (which may surprise some), but I would prefer any Labor Prime of the last 40 years (including Paul Keating), over Albanese. He has fundamentally changed Australia for the worst.
The sails of the Opera House have been lit up with a Menorah in remembrance of the victims of the massacre.

PS Anyone notice a remarkable absence of Penny Wong in the media in the last 48 hours….? The same Penny Wong that came out in strong support of Palestine and the Pro Palestinian protests.

Absolutey agree Peter. Thus government will change Australia forever if they are not voted out at the next election. Unfortunately at this stage we have no credible opposition.
