I would give my life for my belief in Jesus Christ. (A statement not made lightly in light of the recent beheadings in the Middle East.)

There is nothing more important in my life than my faith in Jesus Christ and His message of hope, forgiveness and redemption. Intellectual arguments may abound. Opinions will cascade throughout the ages. But brains and opinions cannot argue with this: For God so loved the world that He gave His only son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have ever lasting life.

So get this right….I am one of the whosoevers…..I humble myself in your presence Jesus…I don’t always understand the ways of God:- But my hope is in you, my trust is unwavering and my passion is to tell others of your love. I don’t have every answer. I can’t solve every problem. I am but a weak man who struggles with sin. I know people get hurt in churches and walk away….But as for me and my house…we will serve the Lord.

Are you one of the whosoevers?

I am.

I live with Hope and my identity is founded in who I am in God.

  1. Yes Pete, also one of the ‘whosoevers’ and loving it. From any perspective, the alternatives just don’t stack up. Ditto to all the elements of the expression above.

  2. join the club for ever and ever no matter what

  3. You already have Peter. You gave a life where sin reigned and came under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

However I would not be surprised if some of us alive today were asked to lay down our physical lives for our Lord. Each to what the Lord requires of him ….

  4. Obviously that is not what I meant and assumed I didn’t need to specify but clearly I was mistaken.
