I recently returned from a 5 day working trip to Vanuatu. During that time I was involved in several days of Leadership Meetings, I visited some sites that Global Care had operated in post Cyclone Pam, attended Church and visited a few others and did a couple of touristy things. Everywhere I went I took my camera. This was my first visit to the Island Nation, certainly won’t be my last. Hope you enjoy seeing Vanuatu through my lens.

Peter, thank you for sharing your special memories of Vanuatu!! I was there in March, and it was the most amazing trip of my life!! I went there because I needed an escape/break, and Vanuatu was cheap. I stayed at Hideaway Island in Mele!! I cannot even begin to tell you how much that trip changed my life!! I visited the school and donated books, met the children and principal Charlie. I also went to the Blue Lagoon, the Turtle Sanctuary, and Cascade Waterfalls. I snorkeled for the first time ever, on Hideaway!! But most of all, I met absolutely the most amazing, real, honest, wonderful, kind and generous people in the world!! They have my heart….. Sinatra sang “I left my heart in SF” – I left my heart in Vanuatu!! I’ve never felt such a heart connection to another country. It broke my heart to leave, I left my home and my family. I cried all the way to the airport!! God made my trip so much more than I could have ever dreamed!! I could talk about Vanuatu and her Ni-Van people all day!! I’m going back SOON!! But I’m staying longer than a week next time!!
Amazing photos, by the way!! ❤
Thank you
By the way….. Your photos really capture the heart of Vanuatu!! ❤
