What I Think About The Mockery of Christianity at the Paris Olympics.

Want to know what I really think about the Christian mockery bit at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony?

It doesn’t matter what I think, but what I am really sad about, is the way Christians, from both sides of the way it could be interpreted, have attacked each other.

One side is highly offended and if you are not, you suck….the other side is grace and love and its art etc etc and if you don’t get that you suck…..

My observation is, maybe the devil lit a spark and Christians started a civil war, and meanwhile the world watches us shoot each other. Mmmmm sad really.

Maybe the civil war has done more damage than the opening ceremony did.

Anyway, that’s what I think.

  1. Interestingly (to me anyway) the image that this reportedly mimics comes from the imagination of someone who was unlikely to be a Christian and is obviously inaccurate. For a start “when evening came, Jesus 👉was reclining👈 at the table with the twelve disciples” (Matt 26:20) not sitting behind a table.

  2. shockery is the last resort of the talentless, and always without depth or sublety

  3. I am inclined to agree with you Peter!
