I listen to Music all the time. I am listening to Music Max (fairly loudly) as I type this in a Motel room in Mooloolaba For me its a huge part of my life and a powerful aid to retrieval of positive memories in my life.
I was reading over my Bucket List the other day and one of the things I had on my list was to make a list of my top 50 favourite songs. So here is the list. As I made the list, which i understand is just a personal thing, I wanted to choose songs that were generally 10 years of more old and that were significant memory pegs for me. Like for instance my Number 1 song:- And She Was was a hugely popular song for Talking Heads in 1985. I was in Year 10 and every time I hear that song it reminds me of so much of my life around that time. It was a good period in my life. Another example: Any song from Queen reminds me of seeing the show (Twice) in London’s West End: Queen The Rock Musical. Africa’s Toto reminds me of the time in my life when I was picking fruit in the School Holidays for one of my uncles and madly saving for a new motor bike. Anyway enough reminiscing, you get the idea. So here is my Top 50 Favourite Songs Of All Time. (It’s actually 78 as I couldn’t contain the list to 50.)
