I love writing in my bible and marking it with colour and making it unique. I saw an article online today written by Kathryn Miller about a woman called Mary Elam. Her bible illustrations and note taking is totally awesome. I was inspired. If you a person of the book then check these pics out.
First a bit of the background story from Kathryn Miller.
A Mississippi woman’s Bible illustrations helped her get through a difficult time in her life, and the powerful story behind the pages is what brought her to share them on social media. So far, her journaling Bible Facebook album has more than 32,000 shares.
Mary Esther Elam, of Starkville, bought a journaling Bible in August 2014 when her son, Cole, was in the hospital with stage 4 liver cancer.
Elam spent many days and nights in the hospital and she quickly realized that she needed something to do. Her journaling Bible was the answer.
I can’t draw anything like this but I doubt my bible will ever be the same.

Way better than the colouring in everyone is doing these days!
I love marking in my bible, but never have I seen such a creative, talented, healing work of art as this beautiful bible displays. I am overawed by the expression and content of these pages. A wonderful extension of the Father’s love. Thank you for sharing.
