Yesterday I posted a blog about how divided Australia is at the moment around Covid. I was alarmed this morning to hear that the NSW Government is preparing to divide the state of NSW even further.
The NSW Government is wanting to hit 6 million people vaccinated by the end of the month. Once that magic number is achieved, the Premier is promising to ease lockdowns BUT ONLY FOR THOSE VACCINATED. Let me put this plainly. If you choose, whether rightly or wrongly, to not be vaccinated – which is your right, in a free, democratic country like Australia, you will be kept under house arrest. Sorry, I meant lockdown.
This is a crazy development.
Now as part of this brilliant plan (insert sarcastic tone), there is no mention as to how long these unvaccinated people will be held in their homes. Could it be indefinitely, if its not, then why even suggest it?
I remember when ISIS took over Iraq they went through the towns and cities and put an Arabic N on some people’s houses. The N symbolized Nazarene – in other words, it was marking houses of people who followed the Nazarene, ie. Jesus.
Now I am not paralleling the NSW Govt with ISIS, I am just paralleling the systemic widespread categorizing of citizens. Do we get to a point, where we put a large UV on people’s houses so, everyone knows that in that house is a person who is unvaccinated?
I will say, I am not an anti vaxer, but am anti big brother controlling our lives.

I totally agree, there is too much control and not enough personal responsibility. What I don’t understand that if the vaccine is so good why should they care if the unvaccinated people are wondering the streets as the vaccine should protect those who have taken it.
Lot of unknowns.
If you want to drive a car you need to pass a driving test and have a licence. If you want to drive a car you have to wear a seat belt. If you want free treatment in a public hospital you need a Medicare card, if you want to receive Centrelink payments you need to fill out a form with all your information.
If you want to travel overseas, go to a restaurant or gym, you will need a vaccination certificate.

The vaccination passport doesn’t guarantee that you’re NOT free of Covid. So in fact several people could board a plane and potentially infect all the other vaccinated passengers and transport the new variant to another country but apparently that’s okay. However, an unvaccinated (free of Covid) is disallowed. If that makes sense to you, it certainly doesn’t make sense to me.
There’s evidence that the viral load of an unvaccinated person with Covid and a vaccinated person with Covid is the same.
We’re being fed lies.
There are many concessions we make to gain the benefits of living in a society. I can’t take stuff that doesn’t belong to me. I can’t punch people in the face if they annoy me. I can’t hunt my neighbours pets for food. I’ll be put in jail for that.
I do agree that people should have the option to not get the vaccine, but if they do they shouldn’t get the benefits of society like roads and health care and easy access to food. You don’t get to pick and choose in a society. It’s all or nothing. And we don’t have a good way to exile people.

I had permission to read this blog. You have a heart to love and help people. As a trained nurse who has attended many patients as they ceased breathing, I am very strong in saying that everyone should be vaccinated. This prevents death and also prevents them infecting others when they don’t know they have the virus. I drive my car and have a license to do so. If I refused to have a test and be given a license, I would be fined for I could damage or even kill myself and at the same time damage or kill other drivers. It is the law.

I am not sure there is an accurate parallel between getting a license and being forced to take government mandated medicine in order to simply leave your house.
WOW!!! I’m hoping this proposal from the Government is just a ‘scare tactic’ & not the real thing (even if it is just a scare tactic, it’s horrendous). I’ve had both of my AstraZeneca shots willingly, so I’m not an anti vacca, I’m an anti choices & scare tactics.
I also think we need precise, true information. There’s a lot of misinformation going around about something as simple as being vaccinated e.g. will give you immunity (my word) to C-19.
Fourteen people, according to a news report have had their third shot of the synthetic S1 spiked protein (vax) in Israel and yet they have tested positive to Covid and two are hospitalized.

All I can say is “what an evil government”.
It’s well known that the vaccinated are getting Covid, transmitting it and dying. It’s happening in Israel at the moment.
The virologists with decades of experience are warning about this but it would appear that our government would rather listen to the W.H.O. (which is funded into the billions by Bill Gates.)

The “zero transmision” target of the narrow focused health officers is unachievable.

Personal view is that it is good to get the jab……BUT to legislate what one can and cannot do, or to allow businesses to refuse service to the UV, it all gets a little tricky, and even a bigger divide in our country. And could one state have rules that differ to others? Based on the performance of some states during Covid, of course we could…even more chaos. As far as I know one is not barred from access etc if you do not have the flu jab (apart from aged care visits), or the whooping cough jab, etc. Some people are not able to have the jab – a relative of mine for instance – what happens to them? And so it goes….the days ahead will be interesting.
